Founded in February of 2015

Our parent foundation has embarked on a twofold mission:

1. Honor the works of today’s master visual artists, whose vision and technique can transform our lives as we re-experience our world through their eyes.

2. Celebrate the works of the great children’s book illustrators and the reasons behind their techniques and dig deeper into the world of Child Art and children’s perception of their environment.

The Museum of Contemporary Visual Art

Grew out of researching the works of great book illustrators. The reasons behind their techniques inspired us to dig deeper into the world of Child Art and children’s perception of their environment. These illustrators have learned to see the world through children’s eyes. Their works delve into what children see and feel. With their fresh eyes, children can experience everything; they can savor color, watch sounds, hear images and objects, or touch instincts in a variety of combinations. Children show all the issues and problems they are experiencing in life through their paintings. In creating this art, they are displaying and developing their own identity.

What is Interesting With Us

Child Art

We have created the first art museum in the northern DFW Metroplex, showcasing the creativity of our regional artists while also making some of the world’s master artists available to delight and inspire our local community.

Child contemporary visual art work
As an artist, I have worked with children from around the world. Over 25 years, I have collected paintings of children that span many different nationalities, ethnicities, languages, and cultures. Reviewing their works, it is easy to see that these children have the ability to express deep feelings and insights with simplicity and profoundness that would be envied by most adult artists.

The artist has to look at life as he did when he was a child. If he loses that faculty, he cannot express himself in an original, that is, a personal way.
