Founded in February of 2015

1. Honor the work of today’s master visual artists — those whose vision and technique inspire us to re-experience the world through their eyes, transforming the way we see and feel.

2. Celebrate the creativity of outstanding children’s book illustrators by exploring the ideas behind their techniques and delving into the world of Child Art and how children perceive their environment.

The Museum of Contemporary Visual Art

Our team is made up of passionate artists, educators, curators, and community advocates who believe in the power of art to inspire, heal, and transform.

Rooted in a deep exploration of children’s book illustration and Child Art, we came together with a shared mission:
To create a space where both master artists and young creative minds are celebrated — a place where imagination, emotion, and identity take shape through visual expression.

We are committed to fostering a museum culture that values curiosity, inclusivity, and storytelling across generations. Through exhibitions, workshops, and collaborative projects, our team works to bridge the worlds of fine art and childlike wonder — helping visitors of all ages see the world through new eyes.

What is Interesting With Us

Child Art

We founded the first visual art museum in the northern DFW Metroplex — a creative space that highlights the talents of regional artists and also showcases works by some of the world’s most accomplished visual masters. Our mission is to inspire and engage the local community through meaningful artistic experiences.
Child contemporary visual art work
As an artist, I have worked with children from around the world. Over 25 years, I have collected paintings of children that span many different nationalities, ethnicities, languages, and cultures. Reviewing their works, it is easy to see that these children have the ability to express deep feelings and insights with simplicity and profoundness that would be envied by most adult artists.

The artist has to look at life as he did when he was a child. If he loses that faculty, he cannot express himself in an original, that is, a personal way.
